Andi Eigenmann relates life in Siargao amid COVID-19 scare.

Actress Andi Eigenmann and lover of a quiet and simple living related on Wednesday the isla life in in Siargao amid 2019 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) https://www.gmanetwork.com/entertainment/tag/coronavirus prevalence in the country.

Andi has been living in Siargao for a couple of years now and has built a wonderful family there with boyfriend Philmar Alipayo and their daughter Lilo.

Lilo is Andi's second daughter. Her first daughter, Ellie, is ccurently living with her dad, Jake Ejercito.

On her latest Instagram post, the celebrity mom shares the current situation in the island.

“Me and my family give utmost importance to our health and well-being, and consider it our most valuable investment.

“Specially in this time, we are glad to keep living our healthy lifestyle, and most of all, share this and inspire others to do the same!” she said.

Although there was no reported case in the island yet, Andi is still mindful of her surroundings and, together with her family, practices the precautionary measures to prevent contracting the virus.

“You see, it isn't the same here on the island as it is in Manila and other places. BUT it doesn't mean we should be complacent.

"We have been taking precautionary measures and making sure the others around us know just what to do as well,” Andi noted, adding that the community is prepared for the worst in case the virus has reached the area.

“We are prepared for the worst, and being extra careful because of the people around us, [we have many elderly loved ones and neighbors and parents with young children who need them as well] and the fact that we still have no proper medical system out here on the island.

"I really hope that others, especially those who only got locked in here by choice, please be mindful enough and do the same,” she said.

Meanwhile, in a bid to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease, the Philippine government has put in place a Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine effective March 17 until April 14.

The government has previously implemented the practice of home quarantine in Metro Manila and 8PM to 5AM curfew which started on March 15.
