Spanish clothing design and manufacturing company Mango has announced that they will be donating two million masks to hospitals in Spain, many of which are experiencing shortages of medical supplies that are essential in the fight against the Coronavirus Disease or COVID-19.
Mango is said to be working closely with the Spanish Ministry of Health in order to distribute the masks in strict compliance with the set guidelines over the next few days.
According to the March 22 report of the World Health Organization, Spain now has 24,926 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and the number of deaths in their country is now at 1,326.
And due to the soaring number of deaths in Spain, Prime Minster Pedro Sanchez had announced on Sunday that the state of emergency in their country would be extended for another 15 days.
Mango's CEO Toni Ruiz, however, remained optimistic in his letter posted on the clothing company's Facebook account. He says that the gradual recovery of China from the Coronavirus pandemic gives them great hope that the situation will also soon begin to improve for the rest of the world.
