Derek Ramsay admits having his own struggles while living under quarantine due to the COVID-19 crisis.
In a video he posted on Instagram, Derek claimed, “I'll be honest, I'm not gonna say it's easy. It's really tough.
“You just really have to focus, it's a time for reflection. It's a time to realize things that you know, that maybe we've been prioritizing the wrong things in our lives. We've really forgotten what life is really about.”
The Kapuso actor then shared his realizations about his faith, his family, his mental health and overall well-being.
He echoed this as well in the caption of his post as a way to express his gratitude for the people working at the front line to help us all keep it together.
He wrote, “Times like these are a reminder. A tap on the shoulder saying, hey, we need to focus on what matters most. Our health. Our safety. The welfare of our families. All of which are ensured by tireless frontliners who put themselves on the line.”
Derek also extended help through the AFP and the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
He said, “Our AFP frontliners are working non stop to help all of us. It was an honor to meet and help these amazing people today. Through the efforts and kindness of @dunkin_ph and kapuso foundation, the AFP will be able to bring help to those in need. Mabuhay kayo.”
