
Comedienne-turned-actress Angelica Jones is still worried about the health condition of her mom, Beth Jones (Jovita Alarva), even if the latter tested negative already for the highly-contagious coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Last May 1, the Laguna provincial board member shared the news that her mom's RT-PCR test turned out negative, but she still needs the help of a ventilator to breathe.
“Dra. Go Called me today . She said conscious na mom ko. Latest x-ray of my mom's lungs improvement and [her] latest swab test is negative. Unti unti tinatanggal ang ventilator niya today hopefully makayanan oxygen without ventilator. Please continue to pray for my mom. Maraming salamat po sa inyong dasal para sa aking ina. God is good all the time. Mahal tayo ng Diyos.

In her next Facebook post, Angelica appealed to her followers and friends to continue praying for her mother because her doctor reported that her oxygen level is still poor.
Angelica told the public, “Nakikiusap po ako, humihingi ako dasal for my mom, Jovita Alarva aka Beth Jones. Her status today, according to Dra. De Mesa natanggal ang ventilator ni Mama. She is conscious but the problem is bumaba ang oxygen. Please pray for my mom.
“Lord I trust You. I [am] always faithful to You. You heal my mom.
“In Jesus' name, gagaling si mama.”
On April 21, the actress-politician confirmed that after battling COVID-19, she and her son, Angelo tested negative in their RT-PCR swab test.
