Maritoni Fernandez shared she never fails to get a breast exam done during breast cancer awareness month
Maritoni Fernandez is celebrating yet another year from being free of cancer.
On her Instagram account, Maritoni shared that she had gone to her bi-annual breast exam with her daughter, Lexi Alvarez. Thankfully, the pair were given an all clear by their physician.
Maritoni also took the opportunity not just to thank her physicians but also acknowledge how blessed she is to be entering her 21st year of being free of breast cancer.
“I keep that in mind always as I remain deeply grateful for this second life,” she wrote.
Last year, Maritoni also shared a photo of herself undergoing a breast tomosynthesis check-up.
