On the last day of the year, Maxene Magalona shared the lessons she learned in 2022 and the things she will leave behind come 2023.

On Instagram, Maxene wrote 25 learnings that the public can use to have a better year ahead.

Two of the lessons were, "Life is too short and precious to be wasting time and energy on things, people, and situations that are not good for the soul," and "Pain is a natural part of life. Pain is potential power."

In a separate IG post, the 36-year-old actress listed 11 things she wanted to let go in the following year.

Among those were "negative self-talk," "overthinking + overreacting," and "toxic people who refuse to grow."

Maxene has been an advocate for taking care of mental health, especially during and after the pandemic.
