Pinoy celebrity inspired dolls and action figures

Toys, dolls, or action figures modeled after a celebrity is big business. What's more, it cements a celebrity's status to an iconic level, forever immortalized as a pop culture figure.

Creating merchandise figures of celebrities is not fully a thing here in the Philippines, unfortunately.

A lot of factors come into play including lack of resources on the part of toy creators to pay licensing fees, and frankly, we simply don't have brands that specialize in this kind of thing.

It's also quite hard to gauge how many fans would be willing to purchase toy versions of their favorite stars, especially for a steep amount.

This doesn't mean, however, that we don't have celebrity toy figures of our own. Some in this list were mass-produced and sold. The others, meanwhile, were created for posterity's sake and in appreciation of their celebrity subject.
