In an interview with GMANetwork.com, celebrity doctor Vicki Belo frankly admitted that Scarlet Snow Belo is part of her succession plan to take over her beauty empire in the future.
Does Vicki see her daughter following in her footsteps based on what she observes at present?
“Parang hindi, e,” smiled Vicki.
“Ang hilig niya ngayon are animals. Baka 'yon ang kanyang maging calling, animal conservation.”
Indeed, Scarlet at such a young age has shown so much love and compassion for animals that she wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up.
Her love for animals was further nurtured when she, along with mom Vicki and dad Hayden Kho, visited Kenya to welcome 2021.
The Kenya safari adventure opened Scarlet Snow's eyes to the condition of the animals and the dangers they face in the wild because of humans.
“We adopted a rhino when we were in Kenya, she wants to help in the [conservation of the] monkey-eating eagles [Philippine Eagle] in the Philippines, marami siyang ganyan so mukhang doon papunta 'yong love niya.”
It's too early to say whether Scarlet Snow would fulfill her childhood dream to become a veterinarian in the future.
Vicki, though, hopes that her deep love and affection for animals would instill in her a kind and compassionate heart at all times both for animals and humans.
