Dragon Lady actor Tom Rodriguez showed his passion for the arts when he gave a lecture on graphic design in Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

Tom, a US-trained animator, shared his insight on key elements of graphic design. He also told students about his passion for art that helped him work with distinguished animation studios despite his busy schedule.

He said, “The medium of design may evolve, but knowing the essence of the art, the idea you are trying to communicate - for me, that's the biggest inspiration.”

Tom also taught students how to draw, and strengthened their talents through the use of technology.

The workshop is a partnership between technology platform Edukasyon.ph and ASUS Philippines which aims to empower the Filipino youth through specialized trainings, experiential learning and other activities that will be rolled out to more schools in the metro in the coming months.
