The “#BottleCapChallenge” is a new viral trend where people uncap a bottle usually with a spinning kick.

This challenge took off a few days ago and as of this writing, the hashtag currently has more than 33,000 posts on Instagram.

According to the New York Times, the challenge started making rounds with Mixed Martial Arts fighters and may have been started by Farabi Davletchin, a Kazach Taekwondo Champion.

His hashtag named “#thefarakickchallenge” didn't catch on.

But the challenge did as he called out a few celebrities like Jason Statham, John Meyer, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Jackie Chan to do the challenge with him.

Now the viral internet trend has caught on with a few Hollywood celebrities like Ryan Reynolds, Marlon Wayans, and even action star Donnie Yen doing their own take.

And last July 2nd, athlete Japoy Lizardo accepted the challenge and flawlessly uncaps the bottle proving he still has the skills we knew him for.

On Twitter, fans of the martial artist applauded the 33-year old to the point that they even referenced his early 2000s ad for chocolate malt drink Milo.
