Save Our Spots DOT celebrity ambassadors

Some big-named celebrities are using their fame to save the Philippine culture and mother nature.

In pursuit of both promoting and preserving Philippine's nature and culture, the Department of Tourism (DOT) launched the Save Our Spots (SOS) to continue its movement for sustainability and responsible tourism. And to help them instill their goals to every Filipino, this eco-friendly campaign featured big-named celebrities who are making good use of their fame to save our planet.

Kapuso stars who joined Save Our Spots were Jasmine Curtis-Smith who wishes to save the future and World Vision Philippines ambassador Joyce Pring who pledges to save the species.

On the other hand, celebrity couple Solenn Heusaff and Nico Bolzico write in their SOS to save the streets and paradise, respectively. As for Erwann Heusaff, he hopes to save the Philippine heritage sites.

Bringing their advocacy to Instagram, Andi Eigenmann and Angelina Mead King shared their stance in line with sustainability.

As an island girl by heart, Andi supports saving the seas. She says, “Living closer to the ocean, I've seen what carelessness can do, and make sure to be mindful of my actions towards the environment, and do my best to help prevent our seas from further damage to make it #MoreFunForever.”

As a hotelier, one of Angelina Mead King's key goals is to “reduce our plastic trash output while doing environmental cleanup programs and educating our guests about the changing environment.”

Living closer to the ocean, I've seen what carelessness can do, and make sure to be mindful of my actions towards the environment, and do my best to help prevent our seas from further damage to make it #MoreFunForever. This is why I have pledged to DOT's Save Our Seas, and I hope you would to! Check out the link in my bio for the latest video on this campaign 🤗
