Andy has already set up the Hobbitathon COVID-19 Appeal in his GoFundMe page, where people can donate and raise funds for two of the charities in the United Kingdom that he wishes to support: The National Health Service (NHS) Charities Together and Best Beginnings.

The NHS Charities Together supports frontliner staff, volunteers and COVID-19 patients, while Best Beginnings extends help to babies, toddlers, pregnant families, and new parents.

In his GoFundME page, Andy also expressed his gratitude to the Tolkien Estate and publisher Harper Collins for allowing him to read Tolkien's novel.

He aims to raise £100,000 and teased that if they hit the target amount, there may be a special surprise waiting.

The Hobbitathon Live will start streaming today May 8, 5 a.m. EST, which would be 5 p.m. in the Philippines, and is expected to last for 12 hours.

The livestream link will be posted on Andy's GoFundMePage.
