Winwyn Marquez

Winwyn Marquez says she feels stronger than ever after going through her military reservist training.

Kapuso actress and soon-to-be-reservist Winwyn Marquez couldn't help but look back at her journey as she nears the culmination of her training under the Philippine Marines.

On Instagram, the 28-year-old host posted an appreciation letter dedicated to her batchmates and other reservists who went through the rigorous training prepared by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

“So much respect for my batch and for everyone who went through this training,” she wrote on Instagram Story.

After ng field training, mixed emotions talaga ako pero I feel like a different person now -- I feel stronger than ever.

“Mate-test ka talaga sa tatag mo… If only I can post all the photos and show all their faces dahil gusto ko ipagmalaki batch ko sa inyo.”

According to the Glow Up host, despite the many challenges her batchmates faced, their desire to complete the training together has helped them act as one unit.

“Walang shortcut, walang kaartehan, totoo lang,” she said.

To serve and to protect the people and to help in times of need.”

She concluded, “Since day 1, I was there, and I gave my all for my class, and I know everyone else did. Blood, sweat, and tears, and it was all worth it.
