Lifestyle vlogger Camille Co and her Finnish husband Joni Koro are hard at work planning for their future “CoKoro” house.

In a recent Instagram Q&A, Camille answered some questions about how they plan to build their future home and how they ended up buying the lot.

Camille shared that she asked a sign from God, when they were looking at properties

She said, “You see if it were up to my parents, I would've had to ask the Chinese temple first to see if whatever property were eyeing is good for us.

“But Joni really didn't want us to do this (He saw how hard it was for my family to find a property before, because the temple would say no to a lot of our initial choices even though on paper, they were so good. He didn't want to have to go through the long process)

“So [as a compromise], I told Joni to at least let me ask a sign from God before we buy anything. I asked God to make the purchase super smooth. If everything falls into place and feels right then I'll take it as a sign from Him that we've found the right one.”

Camille added that the transaction for the property they bought was a pretty smooth one.

“The lot we eventually went for was the easiest transaction ever.

“I was just asking around a private group for property buy and sell and the seller sent me a DM!

“Turns out he's our neighbor here in our village! And he was so easy to talk to.”

The YouTube content creator also emphasized the importance of sustainability that's why they are planning to install solar panels, too.

“Yes! We're not sure if we'll have them right away (depends on budget) but we'll at least make provisions for them so that if and when we decide to install them everything is ready.”

Camille also stressed the importance of talking with your architects about your non-negotiables, when building your home.

“It's important to be really transparent to your architects.

“Be very clear of your goals and non-negotiables so they know what are actually doable considering your budget and they help you make the most of it.”

Camille Co and Joni Koro tied the knot in an intimate garden wedding in Siena, Italy in April 2019.

In a vlog she uploaded on December 12, 2020, the fashion designer-turned-vlogger announced on YouTube that she and Joni will become parents soon.

She expressed that this is certainly the most exciting moment that had ever happened to her life.

“I didn't mean to keep you a secret for so long. You were certainly the most exciting thing that happened in my life but I didn't shout you out to the world even if I was over the moon when I found out about you. All I wanted was to share the news with your father and protect you and keep you for ourselves because you are me, you are your dad, and you are us.”
