Another week, another beautiful work of art from the Queen of Creative Collaborations, Heart Evangelista. She just unveiled a stunning, colossal painting that she says was two years in the making.
In a photo she shared on Instagram, the I Left My Heart in Sorsogon star posed beside her massive artwork clad in an equally gorgeous and sustainably-made ruffle dress from Vietnamese luxury fashion label, Tran Hung.
In the caption, Heart said, “Painting has always been my escape. I give my heart and soul to every painting and I just fall in love with the outcome. Here's a piece I painted for almost 2 years #LoveMarie”
Just last week, the Kapuso artist showcased a hand-painted Louis Vuitton Capucine bag that celebrated Filipino culture.
She called it “Harana.” It depicts a Filipina wearing a terno and a man serenading her.
Heart also added other patriotic elements such as the colors red and blue in the background, which are the dominant colors in our national flag, and the banderitas, which is an iconic decoration used in fiesta celebrations.
She also included a little piece of her heart by adding her beloved Aspin, Panda, in the painting.
Through the years, we've seen a lot of Heart's impressive paintings. Some she painted on her luxury bags, while some she sold for charity.
And soon, we'll be seeing the much-anticipated art collab that she'll be doing with Incubus frontman and fellow artist, Brandon Boyd.
We bet it'll be as jaw-droppingly beautiful as the enormous painting she just unveiled today and we can't wait to see it.
