Everyone knows that Kapuso star Heart Evangelista came from a well-off family and that she owns a lot of envy-inducing luxurious fashion pieces.

But in Karen Davila's latest vlog, the multi-hyphen celebrity revealed that she actually worked hard for the money she spends.

Heart told Karen that aside from her showbiz endeavors and brand endorsements, she also earns a whopping six to seven-digit income from her artworks.

“Yes, I get a lot…a bulk of my money from that, especially with bags.

“I stopped it because I want it to be limited-edition, but I earn a lot.

“I mean, a lot of my expenses from my bags and stuff came from my paintings, 'cause it started as 'Don't touch your savings. You can only spend your painting money.'

“That's what motivated me also, like, 'Ah okay. Ito. I have to paint more!' And I really enjoy.”

The I Left My Heart in Sorsogon star also showed Karen some of her paintings that are worth millions of pesos. One of them is a three-panel painting of women that was one year in the making, and included in her art collection collaboration with Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd.

Heart said, “I get a lot of calls for this one, but I think it was just so much time and effort that I cannot part.”

When asked how much the three-panel painting of women costs, Heart replied, “This would be about PhP6 million.”

Heart then showed a painting that she's planning to sell as an NFT digital art.

“So, they sell like digital art. You can either get bitcoin when they pay you or you can dollars.

“So, this one, I can't sell 'cause whoever ends up buying it, the painting can go to them.

“Some artists, what they do is after they sell the digital painting, they destroy the original painting, so it becomes more expensive.

“It's a different world, yeah.”

When asked how much her painting would 'cause as an NFT art, Heart revealed the jaw-dropping price.

“It can go up to three million dollars, actually, or higher. It depends.”

To put it into perspective, in Philippine peso, that would be around PhP150 million! Isn't Heart so blessed to have such a lucrative skill or hobby?

However, Heart said that for her, venturing into the world of NFT art isn't all about the big earnings.

“But I mean just being part of like the NFT group and what they do is already such a privilege. Even if they don't buy it, I can keep the painting and one day I'll sell it.”

The Kapuso artist and fashion icon also divulged the current starting price and price range of her paintings.

“My bags, like when I paint on bags, it's about PhP200,000.”

“This, if this wasn't part of anything, and if it was a bit more simple, it can be about PhP600,000, the [starting price].

“I recently sold a painting for 3 million. Yeah, that's cool. (Giggles)”

Karen then quipped, “Sana hindi mo pinang-shopping lahat.”

To which Heart replied with, “No, that 3 million now is gonna be saved. 'Cause I overdid my spending. So, save na 'yon.”
