Ikinuwento ito ni Matteo nang siya ay bumisita sa Farm to Table.

Ayon sa aktor, na-inspire siya at ang kaniyang asawa na si Sarah Geronimo sa farming and sustainable living dahil sa kanilang mga kaibigan.

Saad ni Matteo, "I have some friends that inspired to do sustainable living kumbaga.

"Especially Sarah, my wife, I have a friend that inspired us talaga. When we went to his farm, talagang hundred percent sustainable. From waste management to food. They grow their crops, they eat their crops," dugtong niya.

Ngayong buhay may-asawa na ang binibigyang atensyon ni Matteo, ito na raw ang isa sa mga pinagpaplanuhan niya para sa kinabukasan ng kaniyang pamilya.

"Now that I have my own family, why don't I do this? For my future kids, for my brother and sister-in-law, so it will remind us and will always humble us of where we are from ba. It's very important to me."

Inamin ni Matteo na ang farm na gusto niya ay para lang talaga sa kaniyang pamilya.

"The concept that I want is off-grid talaga. It might not be a monetary investment but it's an investment for the family. When we have kids, I want them to grow in a space na that is very basic."

Dagdag pa ni Matteo, "They will learn how to touch soil, be in the mud, cross rivers, kumbaga. 'Yun 'yung things like these, we're planning for the future and, hopefully, our future family."
