
Former Kapuso broadcast journalist, Rhea Santos, took to social media to update her followers that she is flying back home to Vancouver, Canada on Thursday, June 15.
On Instagram, Rhea bid farewell by sharing a photo of herself taken in NAIA Terminal 1.
“Hanggang sa muling pagkikita,” she wrote in her caption.
In the comments section, some of her followers including Unang Hirit hosts Mariz Umali, Lyn Ching, Connie Sison, and Susan Enriquez sent their well wishes to Rhea.
“Safe travels @msrheasantos Godbless always” @marizumali commented.
“Safe trip mare,” @connie_sison reacted.
“Ingat sa byahe Rhea,” @susan_enriquez wrote.
Meanwhile, Rhea celebrated her 44th birthday on Thursday, June 1.
Rhea spent her special day together with her family.
“First time spending my birthday away from my boys but happy to have spent it with the reason I am here. Grateful for life, fortitude, and continued hope for our family. Thanks for all your #birthday greetings and prayers for daddy,” she captioned in her post.
Rhea Santos left the Philippines and went to Canada with her family in 2019. Three years later, she revealed in one of her vlogs that she and her family have been granted permanent resident status in Canada.
