StarStruck Season 2 Ultimate Male Survivor, Mike Tan inked an exclusive three-year contract with the Kapuso Network.

The contract signing was held at the GMA Network Center Building on Tuesday, June 3.

Present at the event were GMA Entertainment TV’s Senior VP Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA VP for Entertainment TV Marivin T. Arayata, GMA VP for Drama Productions Redgie Acuña-Magno, GMA Artist Center AVP for Imaging and Branding Simoun Ferrer and AVP for Alternative Productions Gigi S. Lara.

In his ten years in GMA, we’ve seen Mike portray different roles on film and television. He truly made a mark in series like Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Langit, Legacy, Faithfully and Mga Basang Sisiw.

Aside from the said shows, Mike continues to prove his capabilities as an actor in the GMA Telebabad series, Kambal Sirena, where he plays Jun.

Asked how he feels that he is now an exclusive artist of the Network, he said, “Masaya ako na nabigyan ako ulit ng pagkakataon. Everytime na nagrerenew ako ng contract sa GMA, masaya ako kasi iyon iyong sign na nagtitiwala pa rin sila sa akin.”

According to Mike, he stayed in GMA because the Network gives him the opportunity to reach his goal in showbiz – to be an actor of great versatility.

When asked what other roles he would like to take on, Mike said,“Ang lagi ko namang gusto, ‘yung tipong mga serial killer or ‘yung may Down Syndrome. Gusto ko ‘yung challenging talaga.”

Entertainment TV Group SVP Lilybeth G. Rasonable said she’s very happy that Mike remained a Kapuso. “Itutuloy natin ‘yung career niya as a dramatic actor. Every project naman niya, nag gro-grow siya.” she added.
