Michael V honors his late makeup artist for over 25 years: "I will miss you."
Michael V. honored his make-up artist and hairstylist, Mario Bernardino, whom he fondly calls as Maria, after he passed away today, January 3.
Bitoy, who is known for his parodies and the unique characters he creates for himself, mentioned in a heartfelt Instagram post how Maria has been behind the looks of his characters over the years.
“Matagal na kaming magka-tandem ni Maria; more than 25 years na. When I look my best and when I look like someone else, Maria has always been behind those looks,” he wrote.
Bitoy continued, “Nakakalungkot when I found out that he passed away today.”

The Bubble Gang mainstay host and creative director expressed how he will miss his dear friend, saying that many from the industry love him and will be saddened by Maria's passing.
“May you rest in peace,” he ended his post.
As of writing, Bitoy has not given any details of Maria's passing.
Friends, both in and out of showbiz, as well as fans and netizens, have extended their condolences to both Bitoy and Maria's family.
