The Clash masters Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz, together with Christian Bautista and the show's other alumni supported the last full show of the hit musical Rent at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza in Makati City.

Christian Bautista, one of The Clash's judges, expressed his delight and highlighted the hard work of his fellow Kapuso artists that was honed from their being on the hit weekend variety show, All-out Sundays.

Among the stars of Rent the Musical are Kapuso singers Anthony Rosaldo, Thea Astley, and Garret Bolden.

“Siyempre, enjoy na enjoy kami sa All-out Sundays [kaya] actually, doon din kami nate-train at nahahasa. Lalo na kapag na-apply mo 'yung [mga learnings] mo sa teatro, it's going to be a beautiful thing,” Christian said.

Meanwhile, real-life celebrity couple Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver, collectively known as JulieVer, said that they were happy about the love that Rent the Musical has received, especially since it starred some of their colleagues.

Rayver also showed support and emphasized the talents of Kapuso artists.

He said, “Sobrang galing nila dahil alam naman namin kung anong klaseng talent ang meron 'yung mga kaibigan namin, kaya excited rin talaga kami mapanood 'to.”

They were also joined by other alumni from The Clash like John Rex, Mariane Osabel, and Jessica Villarubin.

Meanwhile, The Clash judge Christian Bautista is also gearing up for the upcoming season of the Kapuso talent search and is looking forward to the new set of talents that they are going to meet this year.

Christian said, “Gusto ko pa rin na maka-discover ng mga bagong talento, maka-discover ng mga bagong paraan kung paano makakatulong, maka-mentor, na mag-judge in a way na makakabuti sa mga bagong Clashers.”
