R'Bonney Garbiel, who is in the Philippines for the Miss Manila 2024 coronation night, bumped into Gloria Diaz in a fabric store.
Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel shared her experience meeting fellow Miss Universe Gloria Diaz.
On Instagram, R'Bonney said that she was starting her new fashion collection so she went to a fabric store where she bumped into Gloria, the winner of the 1969 Miss Universe crown.
In the video, R'Bonney explained to Gloria that her dad is a Filipino while her mom is an American.
"Tatay ko Filipino, at nanay ko American," R'Bonney explained in Tagalog.
Gloria later took a snap with R'Bonney which she would show to her "BFF".
After meeting Gloria, R'Bonney said she "didn't know how to act anymore" and she finished her shopping.
In the comment section, Gabbi Garcia applauded R'Bonney's way of speaking Tagalog. The two will share the hosting duties in Miss Manila 2024, which will air on Sunday, June 23, on GMA.
She wrote, "[Girl] your Tagalog! Galing!"
