Bangs Garcia: “I've just pledged allegiance to King Charles III and the United Kingdom”
Valerie Garcia or more popularly known as Bangs Garcia has just announced that she is now a British citizen.
The actress confirmed the good news on Instagram yesterday, July 18, and Bangs noted that she needed some time to process her citizenship, but now she just pledged allegiance to the king.
Bangs said, “A year late, but I'm glad I finally had time to sort out my citizenship this year. I've just pledged allegiance to King Charles III and the United Kingdom earlier. Therefore, I'm officially a British citizen today.”
She is married to Filipino-British husband Lloyd Birchmore. And last January, they marked their 7th wedding anniversary after tying the knot in Boracay in January 2017. Prior to this, they had two other weddings; a civil wedding held in London in 2016 and followed by a church wedding.
The Birchmore couple have two daughters: Amelia, who was born on December 5, 2017, and Isabella, who was born in July 2020.
