The Miss World Philippines organization truly is living up to its motto of Beauty With A Purpose as it organizes a relief effort for the victims of Typhoon Carina.
In one of the more recent posts on the Miss World Philippines, the organization posted multiple photos of Miss World Philippines candidates Isabelle Bilasano, Bianca Tapia, Miss World Philippines First Princess Jasmine Omay, and current reigning Miss World Philippines Krishnah Gravidez.
In the caption to the post, the Miss World Philippines organization explained that they worked with the Forbes Hope Foundation and Quezon City councilor Ali Forbes to conduct relief operations in Brgy. Damayan Lagi, Quezon City.
This isn't the first instance that the Miss World Philippines organization and Miss World Philippines has mobilized to help out the victims of Typhoon Carina. Miss World Philippines Krishnah Gravidez recently mobilized her non-government organization (NGO) Colors of Kindness to hand out relief goods to victims of Typhoon Carina in Centella, Brgy. San Isidro, Montalban, Rizal. The residents received 150 relief packs from the NGO. The relief packs contained rice, canned goods, noodles, and sacks of dog & cat food.
During the height of Typhoon Carina and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, Krishnah Gravidez also utilized her bank account for the Colors of Kindness call for relief goods. The call in particular called for financial support to buy food, water, medicines, and dog and cat food.
Aside from Krishnah, Kapuso beauty queen and Philippine Red Cross ambassador Michelle Dee also boosted the efforts of the Philippine Red Cross and called on her followers to do what they can to help “recover and rebuild”.
Other celebrities that mobilized to provide relief (https://www.gmanetwork.com/lifestyle/news/114448/animal-welfare-groups-urge-people-to-not-leave-pets-behind-amidst-flooding/story) for the victims of Typhoon Carina include Pokwang, who arranged a relief effort with help from a brand she endorses. Meanwhile Sparkle artists Faith Da Silva, Jayson Gainza, Ashley Ortega, Shuvee Etrata, Olive May, Kim Perez, Elijah Alejo, Kirst Viray, Angel Leighton, and AZ Martinez helped with repackaging relief goods.
