Carlos Edriel Yulo has made history by becoming the first Filipino athlete to win two gold medals in an Olympics.

On August 3 PHT, Carlos Yulo clinched the Philippines' first gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics after topping the Artistic Gymnastics men's floor exercise event with a staggering 15.000 points at the Bercy Arena.

Carlos Yulo broke another record by winning the Philippines' second gold in the Paris 2024 Olympics on Sunday, August 4 PHT. The Filipino gymnast ruled the men's vault final over seven other Olympians, scoring 15.116 points for his routine.

This is the Philippines' third gold medal in Olympic history. Weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz claimed the country's first Olympic gold in Tokyo 2020.
