Kapuso teen star Marco Masa proved once again how special his relationship is with celebrity friend and on-screen partner Ashley Sarmiento when he sent a special birthday message for Ashley's debut.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Marco Masa reflected on his years of friendship with Ashley Sarmiento and said he is happy with the woman she has become.

“There are no words to describe how happy I am for her kasi ang tagal na naming magkakilala. We've known each other for more than a decade already and to see her like that, [...] I'm just really happy with the way she has become,” said Marco.

He added, “Sobrang thankful ako sa kaniya dahil malaki ang impact na naibigay niya sa buhay ko.”

Marco Masa also said he hopes to work more with Ashley Sarmiento in the future, “I want to thank you for everything. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend and I really hope to work with you more soon.”

On Sunday, January 26, rising Kapuso actress Ashley Sarmiento marked a new milestone when she celebrated her 18th birthday with a royal-themed debut party attended by her closest and special celebrity friends like Marco Masa, Bryce Eusebio, Sean Lucas, Josh Ford, Waynona Collings, Princess Aliyah, Althea Ablan, Cloud 7, and many more.

Like all the other attendees, Marco was stunned by Ashley's beauty during her birthday celebration.

“Kahit ano naman sigurong isuot niya na gown, I'm pretty sure na mag-s-stand out siya. And it's her night!” said Marco.
