My Ilonggo Girl actor Yasser Marta is a step closer to fulfilling his goal of building his new home.

In an Instagram video he uploaded last February 2, the Sparkle heartthrob shared the construction update of his house.

According to Yasser, some of the amenities of this house will include an infinity pool, entertainment room, and a camping area. On the other hand, the farm will have a bike trail.

In an interview with GMANetwork.com about this personal project, the Kapuso actor described the design inspiration for their lovely abode.

“Nag-start ang construction first week of November. About the design, 'yung dad ko ang nag-design dahil siya ay isang architect. Siya na gumawa lahat ng drawings, mala-European countryside homes ang dating. Isang floor lang siya pero mataas and malawak. Magkakaroon din ng infinity pool facing the overlooking.”

He added, “For us hindi lang siya investment, dream ko din talaga at ng family ko magkaroon ng house. It's a dream come true.”

'My Ilonggo Girl' experience

Yasser is currently part of the GMA Prime romatic-comedy series My Ilonggo Girl. He portrays the character of a dashing yoga teacher named James, who is romantically linked to the actress-influencer Venice, portrayed by the Star of the New Gen Jillian Ward.

What is it like acting alongside Jillian and Michael Sager in the series?

“I'm thankful sa My Ilonggo Girl dahil mabigat ang mga eksena na binibigay nila sa akin as James. New challenge sa akin 'to and madami ako natutunan lalo working with Jillian Ward and Michael Sager feeling ko ang bata-bata ko pa [laughs].”
