Julie Anne shared her thoughts on her role, "Yung sa character ko naman, it's my first time really doing this kind of genre. Nu'ng narinig ko na murder mystery 'yung story ng SLAY, na-curious ako syempre kasi ang tagal kong hindi umarte. My last was [Maria Clara at Ibarra] and then siyempre gusto rin na ma-maximize ulit 'yung capabilities ko pagdating sa acting."
She added, "I also want to discover myself more, kung ano pa 'yung puwede kong mai-offer pagdating sa larangan ng pag-arte. Ako kasi personally talaga nae-enjoy ko whenever I get these roles, and first time ko rin magkaroon ng ganitong klaseng role. Minsan kapag gumagawa kami ng eksena, nasu-surprise din ako kung papaano siya lumalabas at kung papaano ako nagiging sa set.".
SLAY is now available on Viu and will premiere on GMA Prime on March 24.
