Growing up in show business could accustom one into a lavish and luxurious lifestyle.

The opposite holds true, however, for actress-host Alessandra de Rossi. Despite several acclamations and awards to her name, she remains to be simple and easy to please. For her, happiness involves contentment and passion.

“Happiness is yung pagiging kuntento mo sa meron ka saka 'yung ginagawa mo 'yung gusto mo. 'Yun ang happiness,” she said.

Asked about what her prayer is, the Basta Every Day Happy host answers quickly.

“Siguro magkaroon ng hacienda,” she jokes.

On a more serious note, she said that her prayers mostly contain thanksgiving for the life she has built.

“Kapag nagdadasal ako, every day, nagpapasalamat ako. Wala [na] akong mahihingi. Hindi ako milyonarya, hindi ako perfect na tao [pero masaya ako]. Sobrang babaw ng kaligayahan ko, as in,” she declared.
