SB19 simula at wakas

The wait is over! SB19 drops full EP 'Simula at Wakas' and admits this is their most hands-on project to date.

A'TIN fans are in full celebration mode as the Kings of P-pop, SB19, release their highly anticipated third extended play (EP), Simula at Wakas.

Now available on all digital music platforms worldwide via Sony Music Entertainment, the artistic EP quickly soared on social media. On X (formerly Twitter), “SB19 SAW EP RELEASE” topped the trending charts, while fans continued to stream the songs on platforms like Spotify and YouTube Music.

Simula at Wakas captures the band's evolution as both artists and individuals. It honors their humble beginnings in the industry while stepping boldly into the future.

“It's our way of saying thank you and showing how much we've evolved,” the P-Pop group
shared in a press release. “Simula at Wakas encapsulates everything we've been
through: the struggles, the growth, the milestones. We hope it speaks not only to those
who've been with us from the start but also welcomes new listeners into our world.”

The EP marks the final chapter in the trilogy that began with 2021's Pagsibol and 2023's PAGTATAG!, chronicling SB19's artistic transformation while signaling a bold new direction.

As teased in their promos and “DAM” music video, the EP also explores themes of closure and renewal, painting a vivid portrait of the group's life as artists navigating fame, pressure, and identity.

"It's both a celebration of our journey so far and a declaration of what's to come. We're the same group as when we started. It's just that we've matured, evolved, and grown into artists who are more confident in our voice and purpose,” they explained.

Simula at Wakas features seven tracks written and produced by SB19 in collaboration with both local and international names such as Xerxes Bakker, Alawn, August Rigo, Simon Servida,
and Josue (RADKIDZ).

SB19 reveals that this is their most hands-on project to date. “We held meetings almost every day to carefully discuss how each song would come together, from conceptualizing and message to planning how we could execute and promote the EP in ways we've never done before,” the group said.

“This is the first time after how many years that every member has been this hands-on. Everyone was involved in conceptualizing, producing, and writing the songs. But we also owe a lot to our collaborators who helped us push our ideas further and elevate the project on both the technical and creative sides.”

In addition to the now-viral single “DAM,” the EP includes a versatile mix of tracks: the hyper-pop “DUNGKA!,” anthemic ballad “Time,” as well as “8TonBall,” “Quit,” “Shooting for the Stars,” and an extended version of “DAM.”

Beyond the EP, SB19 will launch their "Simula at Wakas World Tour," kicking off at the Philippine Arena on May 31 and June 1. The tour will also take them across major cities in Taiwan, the United States, Canada, Singapore, the Middle East, Australia, Japan, and Hong Kong.

“We've been working on new arrangements for some of our songs, and we're really excited
for fans to hear them,” the group revealed. “We'll be performing tracks from our latest EP,
Simula at Wakas, and we can't wait to share the energy and emotion behind each song.
Every performance has been thoughtfully prepared, and we're really looking forward to
seeing how our fans react to these new versions of our music. Each day will be a different
experience!”
