Ashley Ortega and Josh Ford Grab philippines event

Ashley Ortega and Josh Ford are both grateful for the support they have received after 'Pinoy Big Brother.'

Ex-housemates Ashley Ortega and Josh Ford shared how they adjusted to the outside world after their Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) stint.

In an interview with the press at the sidelines of Grab Philippines' event on Friday, the Sparkle stars expressed their gratitude for the support they have been receiving since PBB.

Ashley, who has been out of the PBB House for two months now, said she has received so many blessings and has been enjoying the "outside world" since.

"Kung si Josh two weeks pa lang siya nakakalabas, ako two months na so I think there's a huge difference talaga. Ngayon, I'm really back in the outside world to communicate with a lot of people, a lot of good blessings happened to me, a lot of projects, and ito mga brands, going to events to represent good brands that I really am loyal to," Ashley said.

Ashley said she also has a lot of projects in the pipeline, including two movies. One to be shown soon, while the other to begin filming in July.

"Maraming-maraming blessings ang dumating sa life ko and I'm grateful for the PBB journey," the Kapuso actress mused.

Josh, who has only been back for two weeks, said it is "very weird being outside."

"Parang naninibago ako kasi siyempre sa loob we always see the same faces and... the fact that paglabas ko, ang daming sumusuporta sa'kin... nakakataba po talaga ng puso 'yung pagmamahal na binibigay sa'kin ng tao," the young actor said.

As a sociable person, Josh also highlighted how nice it is to see different people when he got out.

"Nanibago, but I'm blessed and grateful sa mga binibigay sa'kin. Sa mga sumusuporta sa'kin. [Kay] Lord. For giving me this opportunity to have this platform to be an inspiration to others. [I'm] happy and blessed," Josh continued.

Asked if they had read the comments about them when they got out, both Ashley and Josh said they only focused on the positive ones.

"I really owe it to the fans and to the supporters who were there for me, who cried with me while I was inside the house, who got to relate with me, who were there to appreciate for who I am and until now, I still cherish them," Ashley said.

She added, "In the outside world, we get to appreciate food more, we get to appreciate the people we're around with, we get to appreciate my fans more kasi 'yung mga message and mga comments about me is something na nakakataba talaga ng puso, na parang hindi ka makapaniwala na sobrang daming nagmamahal sa'yo for who you are."

Similarly, Josh said he always chooses to look at the positive comments and read the supportive ones.

"That's what makes me keep going in a way, do my best, and make them smile. Ayun naman talaga 'yung importante sa akin eh, maging masaya 'yung mga tao around me," he said.

Ashley and Josh were among the celebrity housemates of the ongoing Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition.
