Roxanne Barcelo is a Filipino actress who was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia, USA. Even as a child, Roxanne was an avid music lover. Her interest in music, particularly in singing, led her to auditioning and eventually winning a singing contest called 'Best of the Best.' She was also part of ESPN Kids and was a professional child model for Smithsonian Museum's 150th anniversary, Gap, and JC Penney.
She moved to the Philippines at age 13 and later joined GMA Network's 'Metropop Search.'
That competition paved the way for Roxanne to be part of GMA Network's shows. Her first TV show was the youth-oriented show 'Click.' She also appeared in the television drama series 'Kahit Kailan' and 'Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga'. She was also a regular host on 'S.O.P.' and appeared as a guest in several GMA shows.
Roxanne sang "Kung Alam Mo Lang," the Filipino version of the Korean song "Because I'm A Girl" by girl group Kiss and it topped the Philippine music charts. She also has an album called 'Roxie.'
Roxanne also starred in a contemporary full-length film, 'Mudraks,' which was screened for competition in the 2006 Cinemalaya Film Festival.
In 2008, she returned to GMA Network as one of the main hosts of 'Batang Bibbo' where she became known as Ate Anne. In the early parts of 2009, she was cast in the most awaited fantasy series, 'Darna,' starring Marian Rivera.
After 'Darna,' she appeared on 'First Time,' together with Joross Gamboa and Michelle Madrigal.
In 2010, Roxee returned to hosting a children's show via 'Art Angel' on GMA with original host Tonipet Gaba.
Then, Roxanne joined Alodia Gosiengfiao for the July 2013 edition of FHM Philippines.
In 2014, she appeared again on "Online Babe for FHM" (later known as FHM #NewCrush and Idols) for the June 2014 and December 2014 issues of the magazine.
The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 proved to be life-changing for her because, in the same year, she tied the knot with her non-showbiz boyfriend in a private ceremony.
Then, in January 2021, she revealed she's pregnant with her first child. Later on, Roxanne unveiled a glamorous maternity photoshoot.
In June 2021, Roxanne introduced her baby boy Cinco to the public. Followed by a series of photos with her husband, whose identity she previously kept private, in November 2021.
Cinco was joined by his baby brother, Theo, in 2023.
This 2025, Roxanne and her husband, confirmed the new addition to their family, their third son Leo.
