Darius Duane Estrella is one of the key players for the Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
The Jalajala, Rizal native plays shooting guard for the Heavy Bombers, who finished Season 95 with a 5-13 win-loss record to settle for eighth place overall under the stewardship of head coach Louie Gonzalez.
Before jumping to the Seniors division, Dar played for the Juniors team of Jose Rizal University.
He won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award as a junior in Season 90 of the NCAA.
Dar recalls hitting a game-winner in one of the games against the San Beda University Red Cubs in high school as one of the “best moments” of his young basketball career.
Outside the playing court, Darius loves to cook his specialties beef salpicao and pasta dishes.
He's winning in love as well. Darius, for those who don't know, is the boyfriend of reigning Miss Philippines Earth 2020, Roxanne “Roxie” Baeyens.
