The Miss Universe Philippines 2016 titleholder and First Yaya star welcomed the year 2021 in Anilao, Batangas. This is definitely well-deserved by Maxine who spent the last stretch of the year 2020 under a lock-in taping for the upcoming Kapuso rom-com series.
For her first trip for the new year, she got to create new memories with her boyfriend Timmy Llana, bond with his side of the family, and reconnect with friends like Ariella Arida.
She wrote about it on her Instagram account, saying, “Truly it's been a challenging year 2020 for everyone but I'm grateful to have you @timmyllana beside me, Lim-Llana family, Perez-Medina family and most specially God as our core strength. Happy 2021!!! new year everyone wishing your life to be always bright!”
The beauty queen-turned-actress also earned the chance to take a breather, enjoy the magnificence of nature, and bask under the golden sun.
Maxine got to do all these in her favorite diving site in Batangas which she used to frequent before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
She also encouraged her followers to venture outdoors and try diving.
She said, "If you're an adventurous person there's so much to see and so many things to discover underwater."
