In the '90s, Michelle Aldana made a name for herself after being crowned Miss Asia Pacific in 1993.
After her reign, Michelle entered the world of show business, appearing in Fernando Poe Jr.'s 1994 action movie, 'Hindi Pa Tapos Ang Laban.'
In an interview with Business Mirror in May 2020, Michelle recalled her first-ever acting job.
She was quoted as saying, "It was right after my reign as Miss Asia Pacific when the offer came in. Who'd say no to the late film icon Fernando Poe, Jr. for an introductory role?"
But her acting skill wasn't noticed by critics until she took on the role of Karen, a hard up insurance agent by day and an escort by night, in Tikoy Aguiluz's 1996 film 'Segurista.'
In 1998, Michelle left the Philippines and after two years, she married her first husband, and was based in Germany for four years, before relocating to South Africa.
In 2014, Michelle was remarried to a British-South African man named Edward Burke, with whom she has been raising her three kids.
In 2022, Michelle is set to mark her return to show business in GMA Afternoon Prime's upcoming series 'Nakarehas Na Puso.'
