Fresh-faced young stars Shayne Sava and Abdul Raman are both products of the seventh season of reality artista search 'StarStruck' which aired in 2019.
Shayne, who hails from Binangonan, Rizal, emerged as the Ultimate Female Survivor.
Abdul, who is from Marikina, reached the Final 6 but was unfortunately eliminated from the show after the heavy drama challenge, where he had to play a character looking for his missing younger sibling after a devastating fire.
After their stint on the show, they are now one of GMA Network's love teams to watch for.
Their first big break was the primetime cultural drama series 'Legal Wives.' The GMA Telebabad show had them acting alongside industry heavyweights such as Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo and their 'StarStruck' Season 7 judge, Cherie Gil.
Abdul considers the show his big break in showbiz.
"Noong nasa set ako, tinatanong ko 'yung ibang co-actors ko. What do they think? They actually think it's a big break daw, especially for me. I'm a newbie and this is a really big project for GMA. I know GMA spent a lot on it so I'm [going to] take it extra seriously. I'm [going to] put extra effort into this kasi it's a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Lalo na ngayon, big shot ko 'to. I think I got lucky right now," he said in an interview.
Meanwhile, Shayne shared that she felt honored to act alongside veteran and award-winning actors.
"May scene po na tinuran po nila ko kung paano ko dapat atakihin 'yung script, kung paano dapat atakihin 'yung sasabihin ko. Dahil po doon, mas lalo pong nagbigay klaro doon po sa scene po na gagawin namin--kung ano po 'yung dapat kong gawin, kung paano ko pa siya dapat i-deliver. Sobrang nakakatuwa lang po kasi nakakakuha ako ng advice tapos galing pa po sa veteran actress so honored po talaga ako," she said.
Although their team-up is still in its early stage, the two are already showing great potential for chemistry which led them to earn their second pairing on TV.
This time, Shayne and Abdul's desirable love team has been given more air time via GMA Afternoon Prime series 'AraBella.'
