Celebrities who participated in community pantries

The spirit of Bayanihan is alive and well as a few celebrities try to lend a hand to people in need by participating and setting up community pantries in their respective neighborhoods.

Community pantry is a noble initiative that started along the streets of Maginhawa in Quezon City after Ana Patricia Non set up a two-tiered bamboo cart that contained grocery items such as canned goods, vegetables, rice, and other essentials. Passersby are free to take what they need.

Since then, many community pantries, carts, and tables filled with packed food items started sprouting in different parts of the Philippines.

This inspired a few celebrities, including Gabbi Garcia, Iyah Mina, Erwan Heussaff, and Glaiza de Castro, to participate in the movement and share the goodwill through their platforms to inspire many Filipinos along the way.
