When the Philippines greenlighted COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 5 to 11, health professionals and frontliners were pushed to channel their childlike creativity to keep the kids comfortable and entertained throughout the vaccination process.
Superheroes, Disney princesses, and a whole lot of cartoon characters made their appearances in many vaccination sites and centers - effectively boosting the country's campaign for more kids to be shielded against the virus.
