The Philippines has recently crossed its three-year mark in the pandemic and looking back, it ushered many changes in the way the world has lived these past years.
From work-from-home setups to highly digitized means of living, no industry was left untouched by the global health crisis and even the world of entertainment had to innovate and refine its practices. Among them is a new way of producing and filming television series and movies - Lock-in tapings.
In lock-in tapings, artists and production staff are housed in one area for weeks or months - strictly prohibited from leaving the show's “bubble.” And while it has its advantages, this setup also tends to be difficult especially for actors who have to endure being away from their loved ones for a lengthy period.
While the realities of lock-in taping bare the vulnerable sides of actors, it also stands testament to their wholehearted commitment and passion for entertainment.
