Confusion seems to cloud the mind of Kapuso actress Louise delos Reyes as a woman named Morena Ebrada claims to be her biological mom.

In a report on 24 Oras, Morena narrated how she lost custody of her daughter. She spoke of a child she bore on August 2, 1992 in Malibay, Pasay City and whom she named as Dharlee May Ebrada.

She also recounted how youth and poverty pushed her to have her child adopted. According to her, her friend introduced her to the parents Louise grew up with, Jun and Elvie Perido.

Morena explained, “Ipaampon ko na lang daw po ‘yung bata kay Jun at Elvie Perido kasi wala naman daw pong anak na babae, dalawa lang po ang anak niya. Sabi niya magiging maganda ang buhay niya doon.”

“Syempre ako po bata, naisip ko rin po ‘yung kinabukasan ng anak ko, pinaampon ko na lang po siya doon sa mga Perido,” she added.

Morena holds no evidence that can support her claim. However, she also clarified that her intentions for coming out are clear.

“Para makahingi lang po ng tawad sa kanya tsaka para kilalanin na rin niya po ako bilang ina niya. ‘Yun lang po. Wala naman po akong ibang hangad, ‘yung mapapatawad niya po ako para mawala po ‘yung bagabag sa aking dibdib,” she stated.

In a separate interview, Louise and her Mommy Elvie repudiated Morena’s claims, sharing that the actress was born on September 1, 1992 in Cavite. They also denied knowing her and those she alleged who help her contact the Peridos.

Nonetheless, Louise is willing to face Morena. She said, “Gusto ko pa siyang tanungin kasi medyo naguguluhan pa ako sa mga dinedeclare niyang statement like kung tunay ‘yung birthday ko. Pero kasi as far as I know, my childhood is clear with me. The picture says it all.”
