Enrique Gil is making the most of his time after deciding to take a pause from the mainstream. Veteran talent manager Ogie Diaz revealed that he turned down an offer to lead the local adaptation of South Korean series 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' which his on- and off-screen partner, Liza Soberano, also rejected.
Just recently, the actor had the opportunity to witness the NBA All-Star Weekend game in Salt Lake City, Utah as one of its celebrity guests. During the basketball festival, he also had the chance to meet Fil-Am Utah Jazz player Jordan Clarkson, Shai Gilgerous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, two-time NBA champion Pau Gasol, Jason "White Chocolate" Williams, and Quentin Richardson.
Enrique has been on hiatus from showbiz since 2020 after the COVID-19 has taken a toll. During his break, the actor simply enjoys spending time with his loved ones, and travelling and exploring new places in the Philippines after the pandemic restrictions eased.
