Actor and TV host Matteo Guidicelli just signed a contract with GMA Public Affairs on May 11, to formally seal his career as a Kapuso.
In connection to this, Matteo is now part of the morning show 'Unang Hirit' where he will have his own segment. He officially joined the UH Barkada today, May 15.
The actor is also in talks to star in an action project with Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid as well as a nature documentary.
During his Fast Talk with Boy Abunda guest appearance, he disclosed how he moved to GMA Network, "This was a one year negotiation, with Ma'am Annette Gozon and Boss Vic, of course. I was just in the middle of other things last year and I think it just happened. Meet in person to seal this."
He also thanked the whole GMA Network, "Thank you very much, GMA and Ma'am Annette, Ma'am Nessa, and the whole GMA family for accepting me, and offering me Public Affairs--it's a dream come true."
Matteo added, "Pinag-pray-han ko talaga ito, kami ni Sarah. When I joined the army four years ago I said, 'Love, I'd like to do projects that would represent the Filipino people, and tell the story of the Filipino."
