These iconic female rakistas are now mommies

Late '90s and early 2000s female band vocalists have become '90s kids' music icons.

During the time when males mostly dominated the Pinoy rock scene, female-fronted alternative rock bands proved they can also rule the stage, playing the most badass musical instruments such as the electric guitar that is usually seen played by men while proudly singing their own compositions.

This talented and inspiring roster of musicians includes Barbie Almalbis, Kitchie Nadal, Aia De Leon, Hannah Romawac, Acel Bisa, Lougee Basabas, and Maysh Baay who made a strong impact in the OPM industry and among their listeners because of their skills and timeless music that transcends generations.

While most of them continue to make music despite leaving their bands to become solo artists, these women's main focus now is their families, keeping their plates full by raising beautiful children while balancing a career.

Get to know more about these Filipino female band vocalists who are also 'rockstar' moms.
