Due to their emotional fights in their primetime show,
MariMar,
Marian Rivera and
Katrina Halili recently have been rumored to be foes even when the camera stops rolling.
Marian, however, denies such allegations and insists that she has a good working relationship with Katrina. “Mabait si Katrina, lagi siyang namimigay ng mga chocolates. Wala po kaming problemang dalawa ni Kat. Doon lang po sa
MariMar meron, kasi gusto niyang makuha sa ’kin si Sergio” she explains to
StarTalk.
In the show, Katrina plays Angelika, Sergio’s
(Dingdong Dantes) scheming ex-girlfriend.
When asked about the supposed real-life rivalry between Marian and Dingdong’s girlfriend,
Karylle, Marian quickly comments, “Trabaho lang. MariMar lang at Sergio.”
The Philippine’s MariMar shares that she is getting to know Dingdong better as shooting continues. “Wala na talagang ilangan. Nagsasabihan kami ng sekrerto at minsan, mga problema. ‘Yun ‘yung signs na komportable kami sa isa’t isa,” she says.
Meanwhile, rumors still have it that

Mark Herras is planning to court Marian again. However, she maintains that “sabi ko sa kanya, mas mabuti po siguro kung magiging magkaibigan na lang kami.”
Marian also admits that she had more suitors as her popularity increased. “Hindi ko naman sinasabi na ‘Maghintay ka, maghintay ka.’ Bago pa lang sila manligaw, sinasabi ko na ‘I-e-entertain ko kayo pero hindi ko masu-sure na sasagutin kita. Kung gusto mo akong makilala, gusto mo akong maging kaibigan, okay para sa ’kin yun. Basta ang priority ko ngayon, trabaho,’” she stresses.
The actress asserts that her most persistent suitor is a non-showbiz guy, and continues to deny any relationship between her and Billy Crawford.
