Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla launched Avaluna, her line of beauty and bath essentials, back in 2020.

She revealed that she prepared to start her new enterprise by taking classes about product formulation.

"I'm not really loud about it but many of you don't know that I went to classes in 2019 in formulating skin care to better understand the difference between organic and synthetic ingredients," Kylie shared.

Kylie found that simple routines like taking care of skin was a therapeutic for her and wanted to share how it helped her mental health with other women who might be experiencing something similar.

"Skin care was my cure for my depression. And I just really felt good sharing that passion to other women or anyone that might be struggling which is why I started @avalunabykylie," she revealed.

Kylie uses her preferences and needs as inspiration for the products that she formulates.

"I wanted simple, effective, and safe products that I myself would use. In time I keep learning how to better improve formulas and products," Kylie explained.

Avaluna is sold online and carries various products such as facial cleansers, serums, and lotions.

Kylie is constantly trying to improve her business and is an inspiration to all aspiring girl bosses.
