Shan Vesagas pays tribute to his parents as he finally finishes college

Shan Vesagas, who was tagged as the "newest Internet crush" after joining Esnyr Ranollo's kilig YouTube series "Highschool," reached a new milestone today, August 13.
The Sparkle heartthrob shared to his Instagram followers that he finally graduated college and is now a Hotel Management degree holder.
Looking back, Shan described his college journey at De La Salle University Dasmariñas as a roller coaster ride.
He wrote on Instagram, “Finally finished this phase of my life journey, lots of ups and downs but that did not stop me from thriving and achieving! Clearly [it] was not an easy task being a student-athlete my whole life.”
Shan also paid tribute to his wonderful parents by being a great support group as well.
“I want to thank God and my parents for never leaving my side no matter what. You guys supported me all throughout, especially with my basketball career. Blood, sweat and tears were shed in excelling on and off the court. All the sacrifices of 4 am practices to the heartbreaking games led to many lessons which shaped me to who I am today.” the promising actor posted.
He added, “Both my parents were a part of this whole journey and this is for you guys! Having to place God and my family first was the best decision of my life and probably the best advice that I could give to people that support me.
“Education is a life weapon that nobody can ever take away from you. Again, all these blessings are all because of God and I am nothing without you My Lord and savior!”
Shan was also part of the varsity team of De La Salle University - Dasmariñas as a shooting guard.
Last May 2024, he officially signed his contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center "Signed for Stardom" event.
