READ: Kris Aquino nixes politics... for now

It seems that the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino has no intention of running for public office and instead wants to focus her energy on running her businesses.

Despite being a member of an influential political clan and her brother Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III and late mom Cory Aquino were all ex-presidents, the celebrity TV host is determined to make her growing business empire a success.

Kris shared her plans on her Instagram post last July 8, wherein she said that she hopes to provide job opportunities for hardworking Filipinos through her business ventures.

“This year I spread my wings. I'm the president of Nacho Bimby Pilipinas Corp as well as the president of Kris C Aquino Productions w/c runs #KrisOnLine, and thank God we already have several branded entertainment partnerships... People have asked me many times about politics in my future, but as of now- I'm enthusiastically learning from my business ventures & challenging myself to create a viable food and digital conglomerate that will provide jobs and opportunities for hard working & disciplined Filipinos & prove to my sons that the legacy I am leaving them is self made from their mother's love & determination.”

In other news, Kris is currently doing a big Hollywood project. Recently, she flew to Singapore to shoot some scenes, but the Queen of All Media has been tight-lipped about the details of this movie.

Many are speculating that she will be part of the film adaptation of the best-selling book 'Crazy Rich Asians' written by Kevin Kwan.
