Anne Curtis shares a sweet surprise from her husband Erwan Heussaff for their first wedding anniversary.
On her Instagram, Anne posted a photo of an orphaned elephant named Enkesha, which Erwan forstered in her name.
According to Anne, the cute little elephant, which was born a day after her birthday, was taken in at David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Africa because, “A horrible wire snare that was wrapped around her little trunk.”
Then, she gave an update about its current condition.
“ It now has a little hole in it because when she was much smaller she somehow was able to take the stitches out. Kulit.
“She's sooo cute when she sleeps though. She puts her little trunk up on that blanket behind her and just lets it rest there.”
Anne and Erwan visited Enkesha during their South Africa honeymoon.
Meanwhile, Anne also got nostalgic as she remembered her wedding day a year ago.
In another Instagram post, she wrote a wedding anniversary on Instagram, reciting parts of her wedding vow.
“Just Like Heaven.”
“You taught and made me believe in magic again. You took what was broken and all of its craziness, and made it whole again.”
“•11•12•17• Happy 1st Anniversary Mon amour. Always grateful for you and all the love you have to give. You are my little piece of heaven here on earth. Je t'aime. @erwan.”
Anne and Erwan got married on November 12, 2017 in New Zealand.
