In an exclusive one-on-one interview with Iya Villania, the reigning Miss Universe happily reminisced the journey and the state she was in upon reaching the pinnacle of winning the crown.

“Once it was announced, I can see it in my face when I look on the screen because I'm just in a dream state.

“It didn't sink in until I saw my parents. And then my mom was in tears, so I was like, 'Wow, this actually happened,'” she recalled.

In a quick question-and-answer portion, Catriona answered the top three must-haves she carries in her bag, “Ooh! Phone. Water, because I'm always dehydrated. And my earphones.”

How about her top three accessories?

She replied, “My cuff. I always just want to know an occasion to whip it out. Because it brings me so much pride to have it.

“A good nude pump, just because it goes with everything. And a good seamless.”

And her advice in maintaining a fresh face?

She answered, “Take off your makeup - like well. Because I find that when I leave a little bit lingering I break out. Find skincare that works for you. And learn to adjust with your climate.”
