Pia Wurtzbach lauds Catriona Gray for her amazing journey as Miss Universe.

This was the message of Pia Wurztbach to her fellow beauty queen Catriona Gray as she ends her reign as Miss Universe.
Catriona Gray had encouraging words for candidates who fell during Miss Universe prelims
Pia posted this touching message for Catriona in the comment section of her Instagram post; wherein she reflected on her journey as the 4th Filipino to win the Miss Universe.
Catriona wrote, “My last night as reigning @missuniverse and my emotions are all over the place. But underneath the noise, the underlying tone is gratitude. Gratitude for this amazing opportunity...for all of you amazing souls who have endlessly supported me and joined me on this journey.”
Meanwhile, Pia lauded her for inspiring a lot of people and for representing the Philippines in her reign.
She also stressed that Catriona set the 'bar so high' for the next ladies to win the Miss Universe title in the years to come.
“An amazing Miss Universe. You set the bar so high!
“Congratulations, Cat! You really inspired so many people including me! Thank you for raising our flag!”
